The Pirelli Post
The Pirelli Post is a project which is part of the five-year partnership agreement, signed by Pirelli and Princeton last October, aiming to contribute to the spread of the study of Italian history and culture via new media and new technologies.
“The Pirelli Post is a virtual place of exchange and interaction between lecturers, students and enthusiasts of Italian history and culture”
The Pirelli Post is a virtual place of exchange and interaction between lecturers, students and enthusiasts of Italian history and culture who, thanks to the invaluable contribution by Fondazione Pirelli, can discover and share original new research material: personal experiences, manuscripts, photos, film and advertising from the past, as well as numerous articles from the famous Rivista Pirelli which, since 1948, the year it was founded, has included contributions by key figures in Italian literature and journalism. A real laboratory which, through the use of new media and new technologies, is able to interpret and re-process the images, memories and personal accounts of the main junctures of the social and cultural life of Italy from the post-war years to date.
